I looked back to this (2011) video for my “Dethronement & Dispute” performance

"Christian Cruz will perform a 10 min poem while incorporating street battle dance styles, such as juking and krumping. The aggressive "mafioso" poem will address the complex nature of a bisexual, traumatized, gangster woman and her inability to smile on command. This narrative will be told in a feminine, rogue character created with the use of costume, and props."
This performance is curated by ARTIFICIAL EAR. ARTIFICIAL EAR, is the combined forces of reading and performance series EAR EATER, along with the Chicago-based literature magazine, ARTIFICE, and co-curated by Peter Jurmu and Cassandra Troyan. Event page on Facebook

This is a very short portion of a longer performance. I think about his bee dance a lot and it’s speed in relation to juking.

(The Mobile Kitchen Lab) is a self-sustaining utilitarian sculpture able to provide a full cooked meal in any location through the artist’s intervention. In the context of .sight.specific., the project launches with a cooking performance guided by AlZeri’s mother, Suad, via Skype from either Jordan or the United Arab Emirates" - Curator, Francisco-Fernando Granados
